Use What God Has Given to You
Proverbs 31:10-13,19-20,30-31 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 Matthew 25:14-30
In today’s Gospel parable we see people who have received gifts from God not all the same ones or the same amount, but all have received talents. This affords us the opportunity to reflect on the gifts we have received. What are your gifts and talents? Once you recognize your gifts the question then is: Am I using the gifts and talents God has given me well?
It doesn’t matter if your talents are not the same as another’s. Pay attention to the gifts you have; those are the ones that God has given specifically to you to help build up the Reign of God.
As we approach the great celebration of Thanksgiving, let us give thanks to the Divine Giver of All Gifts. Let us make sure to express our gratitude by using the gifts, not by keeping them hidden.

Use lo que Dios te Ha Regalado

En la parábola del Evangelio de hoy vemos a personas que han recibido dones de Dios. No todos reciben los mismos o la misma cantidad, pero todos han recibido talentos. Esto nos da la oportunidad de reflexionar sobre los regalos que hemos recibido. ¿Cuáles son tus dones y talentos? Una vez que reconoces tus dones, la pregunta es: ¿Estoy usando los dones y talentos que Dios me ha dado?
No importa si tus talentos no son los mismos que los de los demás. Presta atención a los regalos que tienes; esos son los que Dios te ha dado específicamente para ayudar a edificar el Reino de Dios.
A medida que nos acercamos a la gran celebración de Acción de Gracias, demos gracias al Dador Divino de Todos los Dones. Asegurémonos de expresar nuestra gratitud usando los regalos, no manteniéndolos ocultos.
